Pursuant to D.C.C.A. Rule XV, Section 2, the D.C. Bar Board of Governors (“Board”) voted to revise the D.C. Bar Bylaws (“Bylaws”). The Board also voted to promulgate the D.C. Bar Membership Manual as a companion document to the revised Bylaws, which take effect on July 1, 2022.
The Board will be considering whether it will seek any amendments to the D.C.C.A. Rules as a result of the revision to the Bylaws. Until any such amendments are proposed and ultimately approved by the Court, the existing D.C.C.A. Rules Governing the Bar (“Rules”) shall take precedence over any provisions in the revised Bylaws that may be inconsistent with the Rules.
Past Rules and Bylaws
The version of the D.C. Bar Bylaws available below will remain in effect until June 30, 2022.
