The Tort Law Community sponsors an array of programs covering substantive areas of tort law, including products liability, personal injury, insurance law, medical and legal malpractice, premises liability, toxic torts, and worker’s compensation. It also sponsors or cosponsors programs that focus on trial advocacy and litigation skills.
In addition, members engage in pro bono and outreach activities for the benefit of D.C. residents, and on occasion, issue comments about pending legislation or proposed court rules within the Community’s expertise.
