Lesly Amaya Arias
Lesly Amaya Arias, a Bilingual Program Specialist with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, provides support for the center’s Bankruptcy Clinic, Advice and Referral Clinic, and the Consumer Law Resource Center. She performs paralegal duties, research, and administrative support. In addition, she conducts intakes for new clients of the Pro Bono Center’s Landlord/Tenant Assistance Network.
Previously, Lesly worked as an intern at House of Mercy, where she assisted the client coordinator and volunteer coordinator in providing service, assisting volunteers, and conducting outreach research. She has volunteered with Urban Alliance, where she aided the development team by conducting research and collecting and organizing data.
Lesly holds a bachelor’s degree in integrative studies with a concentration in international studies from George Mason University with a minor in Psychology and Nonprofit Studies. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
