The Leadership Resource Portals are a one-stop shop for elected leaders of the D.C. Bar Communities Steering Committee and Communities volunteers. Find the resources and information you need to plan, collaborate on, and conduct Communities programming. Many of the portals require a login. If you have questions, contact the D.C. Communities Planning Portal
The Communities Planning Portal includes everything you need to plan, track, and manage your programs from start to finish. The Portal will give you access to streamlined program request forms and correspondence tracking, real-time email alerts throughout each step of the planning process, and a live calendar view of all upcoming programs and events.

Speaker Packet and Registration

• Communities Speakers no longer need to sign a Speaker Release Form. Please read our updated Speaker and Materials Release available here.


• The D.C. Bar Speaker Packet, available here, provides an introduction to Communities programming, including our newly updated speaker and materials release and Opt-Out form. In it you will also find helpful tips for ensuring the success of your presentation, including how to prepare for remote programs and a quick guide to drafting great handouts, as well as a link to our Speaker Diversity Questionnaire (all responses remain anonymous).


• Register to speak. The D.C. Bar welcomes hundreds of expert speakers and panelists every year. If you are interested in becoming one of our speakers, please complete our Speaker Registration Form available here.
