Kate Rheaume
Kate Rheaume is the Pro Bono Support Attorney, Housing with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center. In this role, she mentors pro bono attorneys in the Advocacy & Justice Clinic and Right to Counsel project, supervises volunteer attorneys in the Landlord Tenant Resource Center at D.C. Superior Court, and provides trainings and support to volunteers.
Prior to joining the Pro Bono Center, Kate worked as a Senior Staff Attorney with Children’s Law Center, representing D.C. families in housing, special education, and public benefits matters. Kate also clerked for the Honorable Judge Darlene M. Soltys in D.C. Superior Court and the D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Spanish and Philosophy from the University of Florida. She earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center. During law school, Kate represented clients as a student-attorney in Georgetown’s Appellate Litigation Clinic.
Kate is fluent in Spanish.
